Whether you are undertaking the refurbishment of your bathroom yourself, have a trusted installer, or are undertaking a major property remodelling project – such as an extension or conversion – we can supply the products you choose and are here to help guide you through the process.
Typical refurbishment of existing bathrooms:
For a typical bathroom refurbishment we can start the process from a sketch plan with the main room dimensions – see following example:

together with a few pictures of the existing bathroom.
It’s very useful if these pictures include one of where the toilet soil pipe currently exits the room either internally, including any boxing that covers it, or externally where it’s visible from outside the property – usually the side or rear of the house.
The sketch doesn’t have to be to scale and don’t be concerned about whether you have included everything – there’s always follow up questions!
To start the process either email it to us on info@belmontbathrooms.co.uk or bring it with you when visiting the showroom.
Once a basic layout is agreed we can discuss what specific products you would like to include in the project to progress to creating a no obligation quote.
Extensive remodelling projects:

On more extensive property remodelling projects such as an extension – which typically might include adding or moving bathrooms – your selected building contractor will usually include the cost of the work required to install the bathrooms in their quote but require you to select and source the products for your new bathrooms.
Usually for us this starts with designing the layout of the rooms from plans you provide.
In all bathrooms the positioning of the toilet soil pipe and how it connects to the mains drainage is an important determining factor of the final layout, and therefore often early in the process we will arrange a site visit to discuss this with you and your contractor and confirm the position shown on the plans is accurate.
Once the layout is determined and you have selected your products and are happy with the quote, if you decide to proceed, we will liaise with you and your contractor.
This includes making annotated layout plans available and agreeing the timing of product deliveries – for the first fix to run supply and waste pipes products such as shower valves, concealed basin/bath fillers, shower trays and baths are usually required early on in the project before internal walls and floors are boarded.
It’s also commonplace for us to then store the remaining products to be delivered to site later in the project when the building is secure and which, during continuing building work, also reduces the risk of damage to the products before they are installed.
